This gala evening is an opportunity to picnic in the grounds of wonderful Combe Manor and enjoy a glass of sparkling wine before the main event of the evening: an innovative and exciting new production of Verdi’s Rigoletto by Opera Project.

One of Verdi’s most popular operas, Rigoletto premiered in Venice in 1851 and tells the tragic tale of a court jester seeking to protect his daughter’s honour from his rich employer. This all-new production, with a cast of leading young singers and instrumentalists, takes Verdi’s characters from elation to despair in this operatic classic packed with glorious melodies and powerful music.
