Christ Church Cathedral Choir, Oxford, is over 500 years old and is internationally famous for the youthfulness of its sound and its adventurous musical programming. We close the 2013 Festival with an all-English programme which is built around the Vaughan Williams rarely performed masterpiece, his Mass in G minor, and includes the world premiere of a new work by the brilliant young composer Mark Simpson who graduated from Oxford University at the same time as his work 'sparks' was premiered at the Last Night of the Proms in 2012.
