Born in Shanghai in 1976, Li-Wei is a leading cellist of our time and has established a formidable reputation on the international concert scene. He is well known for his brilliant virtuosity, refined musicality and sincerity of interpretation

In this exciting programme, Li-Wei pairs these masterpieces by Bach with two compelling compositions by George Crumb and Henri Dutilleux, two of the most eminent and imaginative composers of recent times. Set in the beautiful drawing room at Woolley Park, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
