The New London Chamber Ensemble came together as a result of a passionate love of performance and a mutual desire to explore new ways of communicating musical energy to their audience.

Thanks to the combination of imaginative programmes and virtuoso performances, the NLCE has established an international reputation. Their Festival concert includes arrangements of baroque and classical music by Byrd and Mozart, together with Ravel's tender and beautiful Mother Goose and Carl Nielsen's Quintet, surely the greatest wind quintet ever written.
