Ensemble Berlin is made up of players from the internationally celebrated Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra who, since their formation in 1999, have performed all over the world when their otherwise busy schedule allows. Led by their celebrated first oboist colleague Christoph Hartmann, they will perform an all Italian programme inspired by the masters of 19th Century opera including Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti and Verdi as well as including Puccini’s rare instrumental work, I Chrysanthemi, drawn from his opera Manon Lescaut.
“Ensemble Berlin simply world class.” Trosberger Tagblatt
