Pinchas Zukerman has remained a phenomenon in the world of music for four decades. His musical genius, prodigious technique and unwavering artistic standards are a marvel to audiences and critics and his devotion to the next generation of musicians has inspired a wealth of younger artists with his magnetism and passion.
Pinchas Zukerman and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra perform Beethoven’s majestic Violin Concerto, full of dramatic tension and glorious lyricism, followed by Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No 4 – regarded by its composer as “my best symphonic work” – brilliantly orchestrated and culminating in a wonderfully joyous Russian dance.
