iFlautisti – The London Recorder Quartet – present a vibrant and colourful collection of repertoire for recorder consort. The programme spans some of the earliest surviving manuscripts through the centuries and across the globe to create a spirited setting of music for recorder. iFlautisti are also delighted to be able to include a World Premiere, Spring will be Great, written for the ensemble by Dutch composer, Chiel Meijering.
iFlautisti displays four vibrant young recorder players in a truly dynamic ensemble, challenging any preconceptions of recorder-playing by delivering inspirational repertoire with absolute imagination and creativity.
“They blow the dust off old masterpieces and present them in a fun and innovative way. Performances are full of energy and spirit.” Ashley Solomon, Artistic Director, Florilegium
