Making its Newbury debut, the orchestra will perform Mozart's Divertimento as well as Haydn's Cello Concerto, with former BBC Young Musician of the Year Natalie Clein. Natalie Clein is rapidly gaining an international reputation as an artist of exceptional musicality and her performance of Haydn's delightful concerto is an occasion to relish. The remainder of the programme is full of vitality, including distinctively nationalist music by Bartók and Grieg.
