Formed in 1988, the David Rees-Williams Trio is renowned for its sophisticated jazz explorations of classical music from the last four centuries. The trio has performed in an interesting variety of concerts and festivals over the years both in England and Spain, and now specialises in a programme that unites the best of classical and jazz. Swinging effortlessly from classical to jazz, this performance in the intimate surroundings of Donnington Priory will feature innovative arrangements of works by Bach, Debussy, Grieg, Franck, Mozart, Scarlatti and Vivaldi - exceptional playing but also an extraordinary contemporary take on classic compositions.
