Young Artists Lunchtime Series 4

Katherine and Alison first met when they were both students at the Royal Academy of Music. Since then they have frequently performed in cello and piano duo concerts. Katherine gave her Wigmore Hall debut Recital in 2004, a concert that was awarded as a prize by the Maisie Lewis Young Artists Scheme. In 2000 Alison was the Prize Winner at the Messiaen International Competition in Paris and in 2004 she was selected by the Tillett Trust for their Young Artists Platform.

For their Young Artists Recital they have chosen a varied programme of music by Faure, Brahms, Hyde and Cassavo from different periods and countries, to show some of the remarkable range of the cello and piano repertoire.
