DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nToday’s recital The Library of a Prussian Princess\, tells the story of Anna Amalia\, Princess of Prussia (1723-1787)\, an extraordinary woman who made an enormous contribution to cultural life in 18th Century Berlin. This programme highlights music from her personal library and combines well-known favourites by Handel and J S Bach with music by Anna Amalia\, Geminiani\, and C P E Bach. \nFounded in 2019 by recorder player Olwen Foulkes\, Ensemble Augelletti specialises in creating programmes that connect baroque chamber music to the every-day stories of people living in the 18th century. The ensemble has performed on BBC Radio 3 In Tune and Early Music shows\, in several UK Arts Festivals; London\, Brighton\, and York Early Music Festivals. SUMMARY:A Taste of Argentina
