DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nNewbury Spring Festival is delighted to welcome the winner of the 2024. \nSheepdrove Piano Competition to the Corn Exchange to perform a recital as part of the Festival’s Young Artists Lunchtime Series. \nThe prestigious competition\, now in its 15th Year is open to students from all the major UK conservatoires. The competition was founded in 2009 by the Sheepdrove Trust and is now widely recognised as one of the important national piano competitions. \nThe winning pianist’s programme will include works by Chopin\, this year’s featured composer. \nToday’s recital is an opportunity to hear more of the winning pianist following the competition held at Sheepdrove\, Lambourn on Sunday 19 May. \nSponsored by The Headley Trust \n\n\n\n\nTickets\n£15\n(includes £1.25 Corn Exchange booking fee per ticket)\nSeries ticket for all 6 concerts £75 \n

Considered one of the most influential names associated with the saxophone on social media\, his videos have reached a million views. \nManu makes a welcome return to the Festival for this concert taking inspiration from his new album Fantasia with pianist and opera conductor Bryan Evans.
