We are delighted to be bringing a new event to the Festival this year. This is a chance for you to get involved with painting a mural, based on a musical themed image, in the Kennet Centre, Newbury.
The Festival is collaborating with City Arts Newbury on this community project. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come and take part, helping to paint a bespoke mural on the wall in a day, as a lasting piece of artwork to be seen by all.
The design will be created by local artist Isabel Carmona who will on hand to help the day’s creative process and direct the painting performance as necessary.
Come along on the day to see the development of the mural; either come and spend as much time helping to paint as you like or just come and watch the artwork take shape.
NB. Please use the Cheap Street entrance to the Kennet Centre where you should see the artwork taking shape!
