The Flowers Band was formed in 1968, and 55 years later, has cemented itself amongst the elite bands of the world, being ranked in the top 10 worldwide for the last decade. Recent contest successes have come in the form of wins at the Butlin’s Mineworker’s Contest, The West of England Regional Championships and the French Open. Podium placings have also been achieved at Brass in Concert, as well as a record equalling 4th place for the band at the National Championship of Great Britain in 2022.
They will be performing a mixed programme giving an insight into the varied sounds of the brass band world, suitable for all the family to enjoy.
