We’re delighted to welcome back the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to the Festival in their 75th anniversary year, under the baton of Jonathan Bloxham (please note this is a change from our printed brochure).

The orchestra is joined by international star violinist Jennifer Pike who will be performing Mozart’s dazzling Violin Concerto No.5. The concert also includes two works by Vaughan Williams that are not regularly performed on the concert platform.

The evening will conclude with Mozart Symphony No.29, written when he was just 18 years old it was favoured by the composer himself who programmed it for performance time and time again.
