We are thrilled to welcome Tasmin Little back to the Festival to give her very final public concerto performance ahead of her retirement in June 2020. It is a particular pleasure that she will be performing the Korngold Concerto which she and Mark Eynon have wished to programme for many years.
Tasmin will be playing with the internationally renowned St Petersburg Symphony Orchestra who are making their Festival debut, with their distinguished conductor Nikolai Alexeev. The luxuriously-scored Korngold Concerto will be flanked by music from Prokofiev’s greatest and most popular ballets, Cinderella and Romeo and Juliet.
This promises to be a truly memorable evening, and a fitting celebration of Tasmin’s remarkable solo career.
