Award-winning journalist, associate editor and weekly political columnist for The Times newspaper, Baron Daniel Finkelstein OBE is a prolific force in print and politics.
This afternoon he will be joined by the distinguished novelist and political commentator Robert Harris, to talk about his recent book, Hitler, Stalin, Mum and Dad.
Hitler, Stalin, Mum and Dad is a deeply moving, personal and at times horrifying memoir about Finkelstein’s parents’ experiences at the hands of two genocidal dictators of the twentieth century.
It is a story of persecution and survival; and the consequences of totalitarianism told with the almost unimaginable bravery of two ordinary families shining through.
