Kabantu present a new collection of their latest compositions influenced by folk music from around the globe. They are a band of virtuosi wielding an expansive sonic arsenal; originally classically trained, they draw on an intricate palette of colours curated from their own wide listening.
They are all multi-instrumentalists, ranging from extraordinary whistling and violin, to double bass and digeridoo, the multifariousness of percussion and guitars. The sheer musicianship of each member, an exhilarating collective unexpectedness and an infectious joy on stage is mind-blowing, cultivated by a shared immediacy of expression forged by total trust.
