Fantasia

Star Spanish Saxophonist Manu Brazo is an innovative musician who is redefining the concept of the classical musician in the 21st Century. Considered one of the most influential names associated with the saxophone on social media, his videos have reached a million views.

Manu makes a welcome return to the Festival for this concert taking inspiration from his new album Fantasia with pianist and opera conductor Bryan Evans. The duo presents a concert that features a blend of beautiful melodies and challenging moments, as they transform familiar tunes from Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Bizet’s Carmen, Verdi’s La Traviata and Gershwin’s Porgy & Bess into soaring virtuoso passages, showcasing Manu’s sensibility and virtuosity on the saxophone and Bryan’s mastery of the piano and vast knowledge of these operas.
